Galvanized and Painted Rolled Products: Trends in Production and Consumption

Fertilizer Use: The Effect of Zinc Fertilization on Nutrition and Food Quality

March 26-27, 2009 – Windsor Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya
Organized by IZA/IZASA (International Zinc Association/IZA Southern Africa), CIAT (International Center for Tropical Agriculture), TSBF (Tropical Soil Biology and Fertility Institute) and KARI (Kenya Agricultural Research Institute).
This conference aims at collecting information and mapping out a way forward increasing the awareness of the importance of zinc in our soils, plants and diets and food quality. Key note speakers will include renowned scientists, food industry executives, development experts and government officers from Kenya and South Africa. Scientists, industry representatives and policy-makers are invited to attend this conference.
A public session highlighting the relation between the nutritional quality of food crops and the health of children will be held on March 27, 2:30 pm at College of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Kabete Campus, University of Nairobi.
