The 19th International Congress of Nutrition (ICN 2009)
October 4-9, 2009 – Bangkok, Thailand

The Nutrition Association of Thailand will host this scientific conference which will likely bring together over 3,000 nutrition scientists, practitioners, and researchers from all over the world. The 19th International Congress of Nutrition themed “Nutrition Security for All” will feature internationally recognized speakers and experts in the field. A cascading of the most up-to-date nutrition-related issues will be covered in the plenary lectures, dialogues, parallel symposia/ workshops, panel discussions as well as oral and poster presentations.

ILZSG (International Lead and Zinc Study Group) 54th Session
October 8-9, 2009 – Lisbon, Portugal

The ILZSG 54th Session will be held at the Altis Hotel, Lisbon (same venue as in 2008) on Thursday 8 and Friday, October 9, 2009. The Session will provide an opportunity for around 200 industry and government representatives from the Study Group’s 30 member countries to get together and exchange views on developments and prospects for the lead and zinc markets, to discuss the ILZSG lead and zinc market forecasts for 2010, and to consider key environmental and economic issues impacting on the industry.

International Symposium on Advances in Corrosion Protection to Steel Members in Building Construction
November 2, 2009 – Hongkong, P.R. China

This one-day conference will highlight the recent developments in corrosion protection; the effective use of galvanized steel reinforcements in buildings; global trends; and relevant regualtions and guidelines in various Asian countries.

The conference will be organized by IZA in cooperation with the Hongkong Polytecnic University and the Nano and Advanced Materials Institute.
